Method of Preparing the Hennessy Wings Step by Step:
The Hennessy Bbq Sauce:
Step 1: Bring everything to a simmer in a pot over medium/medium-low heat, stirring occasionally.
Step 2: Turn off the heat once the sauce has reduced and thickened (approximately 20-30 minutes) and add one last splash of Hennessy cognac, about one ounce.
The chicken wings:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix together all of the dry ingredients until well blended, then sprinkle over the chicken to coat. You may or may not require all of this mixture; simply ensure that each piece is thoroughly covered.
Step 2: Cook the chicken for 20 minutes in the oven. Bake for another 20 minutes after flipping the chicken. Bake for another 10-15 minutes or until thoroughly crispy, flipping once more. Add the orange Hennessy Sauce and toss well. Serve and enjoy.
Note: you can store the extra seasoning for another usage. Since it is a dry mixture, it can be stored as fresh for up to 3 weeks. The leftover sauce can be stored for a week. You need to store it in an air-tight container.
