Helpful Tips and Variations:

Ground beef substitute: you can swap your ground beef for ground turkey or chicken.
Taco seasoning: you can make your own taco seasoning at home. You get to adjust the seasoning blend to your liking. You can add or leave out ingredients to suite your taste. This also allows you to control amounts.
For a little more heat: taco seasoning packet adds sufficient heat and flavor to your ground beef, but if you like things extra spicy, then add more chili powder or some diced jalapenos.
For less heat: Salsa con queso adds just the right amount of kick to spice up your dish, but if you are sensitive to spices, you can definitely use a regular cheese dip. (you can also skip the taco seasoning packet and adjust spices to suit your taste)
Flour tortilla substitute: I personally use flour tortillas; they work best for this recipe, but you can certainly switch it out with some corn tortillas.
Storage: Store your taco lasagna leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days. Reheat in the microwave or in the oven when needed.
