Before you start the recipe, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Whisk together the flour, oats, sugar, cinnamon and salt in a medium bowl.
Add the butter to the oat mixture and combine.
Pour the apple pie filling in a small baking dish.
Top with the prepared oat mixture.
Bake for about 45 minutes, once it’s golden and the filling is bubbly, take it out of the oven and give it time to cool down before serving. Enjoy with a generous spoonful of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
