Chicken Alfredo Lasagna

Ingredients
  

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken with half of the Alfredo sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Place three lasagna noodles on top.
  • Spread half of the chicken mixture over the noodles, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Repeat the layers: noodles, chicken mixture, and cheeses.
  • Top the lasagna with the remaining three noodles, spread the remaining Alfredo sauce over the noodles, and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
