Chocolate Chip Granola Bars Recipe

Easy Chocolate Chip Granola Bar Recipe: Soft, Chewy, and Extremely Delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups oats quick oats or rolled oats
  • 1 cup crispy rice cereal
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup honey
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons mini chocolate chips good quality

Instructions
 

  • Take a large glass bowl, add the oats and rice cereal then put aside.
  • In a small saucepan, add in the brown sugar, unsalted butter, and honey then bring to a boil over medium high heat, then let it simmer on medium low heat about 2 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Turn off the heat, remove the pan from the stove then mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Pour the melted ingredients on top of the dry ingredients in the bowl and mix pretty well to combine everything.
  • Pour the oat mixture in an 8-inch baking pan lined with parchment paper, press down firmly. Top your granola with mini chocolate chips then press down a bit.
  • Let it cool at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours, then slice into nice looking bars. Enjoy!
