Easy Penne Pasta with Chicken and Peas

A perfectly cooked penne pasta, finely diced onions, peas, juicy chicken breasts, all dipped in a delicious hearty cream.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces penne pasta around 227g
  • 1- pound boneless chicken breasts with no skin cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup peas frozen
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ½ diced yellow onion
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

Instructions
 

  • Boil a large pot of salted water and add the pasta. Halfway through cooking your pasta, add in 1 cup frozen peas to the pot. Cook your penne pasta until al dente and don’t forget to check the back of the package for instructions.
  • Meantime, set a large skillet over medium high heat, add in the olive oil, the finely diced onions, and your chicken breasts (cut into small pieces). Don’t forget to season with salt and paper according to your taste.
  • Drain the pasta and peas and rinse gently in cold water.
  • Add the pasta and peas to the onion and chicken mixture. Reduce the heat to medium then add in the heavy cream.
  • Stir in the heavy cream, chicken, and pasta. Let the sauce boil gently.
  • Spoon the pasta onto your favorite pasta plates or bowls and serve immediately. You can add in some cheese or toppings of your liking. Enjoy!
