Place the steak bites in a large bowl, sprinkle some salt and pepper on top, then mix to combine.
Add half of the olive oil to a large skillet set over medium high heat and when the pan is heated sear off the steak pieces then transfer them to your slow cooker.
Add the thinly slice onion and garlic cloves to the slow cooker and toss to mix with the steak pieces.
Add the beef stock or broth to the pot. Drizzle the au jus packet on top along with the butter slices.
Put the lid on and let it cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or on low for 6 to 8 hours. (it’s best if you can stir from time to time; every 30 minutes or so)
Garnish with some fresh parsley if you like and Enjoy!
