Ingredients
  

  • 3 pounds sirloin steak cut into small cubes
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small sweet onion thinly sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves thinly sliced
  • 1 cup unsalted beef stock
  • 1 packet ay jus gravy mix
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter thinly sliced
  • Fresh chopped parsley optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • Place the steak bites in a large bowl, sprinkle some salt and pepper on top, then mix to combine.
  • Add half of the olive oil to a large skillet set over medium high heat and when the pan is heated sear off the steak pieces then transfer them to your slow cooker.
  • Add the thinly slice onion and garlic cloves to the slow cooker and toss to mix with the steak pieces.
  • Add the beef stock or broth to the pot. Drizzle the au jus packet on top along with the butter slices.
  • Put the lid on and let it cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or on low for 6 to 8 hours. (it’s best if you can stir from time to time; every 30 minutes or so)
  • Garnish with some fresh parsley if you like and Enjoy!
