Cook your chosen pasta until al dente, then set aside until needed.
While your pasta is cooking, set a large skillet over medium heat. Add in the ground beef, use a spoon to break it apart, then stir until it’s all browned and cooked (it would take about 6 to 8 minutes). Get rid of any excess, then place the ground beef in a plate or bowl and set aside.
Using the same skillet, with the heat lowered to medium, melt the butter. Once it’s ready, add in the flour and whisk constantly for about 2 minutes to form a roux.
Gradually mix beef broth into the roux while whisking consistently for about 3 to 4 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
Whisk in the milk slowly while stirring non-stop over medium heat until the sauce thickens one more time for about 5 to 7 minutes.
Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, pepper and salt, then mix to incorporate the seasoning in the sauce.
Lower the heat, then add the cooked pasta along with the beef into the skillet and stir to combine everything.
Slowly mix in the sour cream to incorporate with the sauce.
Serve you creamy pasta right away while hot and appetizing. You can grate some Parmesan cheese on top, drizzle your favorite herbs and dig in!
