ITALIAN GRINDER SALAD SANDWICH

Ingredients
  

Grinder Salad

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce shredded finely
  • 1/2 red onion sliced thinly
  • 1/3 cup banana peppers sliced
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Pepper to taste

Sandwich

  • 3 sub rolls
  • 1/4 pound salami
  • 1/4 pound pepperoni
  • 1/4 pound turkey
  • 1/4 pound provolone cheese
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese grated

Instructions
 

  • Start by preparing the grinder salad.Add the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper to a large bowl. Beat well to combine.
  • Then add lettuce, red onion, and banana pepper. Mix carefully
  • Then assemble the sandwich. Divide the salami, pepperoni, and turkey between the rolls. Add cheese to the meat.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and meat is crispy.
  • Remove the filler from the oven. Add tomato slices to sandwiches. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add generous amounts of grated lettuce to each sandwich.Season with salt & pepper.

  • Close the sandwiches, cut in half, and enjoy!
