Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 15 ounce
  • 1 can tomato sauce 15 ounce
  • 3 ounces tomato paste
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1-2 cups water more may be needed to adjust consistency
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Black pepper
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta uncooked
  • Topping Suggestions
  • ½ cup Ricotta cheese
  • ½ Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Add olive oil in a soup pot set over medium high heat, when it’s heated add in the ground beef, diced onions, and minced garlic. Cook while stirring occasionally until the ground beef is cooked through, then remove excess fat.
  • Add in the tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and the chosen pasta shells. Mix all these ingredients, then increase the heat to high and let it boil.
  • Lower the heat to a medium, simmer and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until the pasta is cooked to your liking. (at this point, you can add couple splashes of water to adjust the consistency to your preference).
  • Add the Mozzarella, Parmesan, and Ricotta to the soup or serve it in little garnish bowls next to your dish.
  • Add some fresh parsley or extra cheese on top and you’re ready to go! Enjoy!
