Place the butter in a medium bowl. Add in the garlic powder, Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, then mix everything until smooth.
Use the butter mixture to coat one side of each slice of bread. Then, put the bread slices on a sheet tray until ready to use (the butter side facing up).
Set a skillet over medium low heat and place a slice of buttered bread side down into the skillet. Then lay a mozzarella slice on top of the bread topped with 6 pepperoni slices, then another slice of mozzarella cheese, 6 additional pepperonis and finish with a slice of mozzarella cheese.
Top with a slice of bread, keeping the butter side up. Cover the skillet with a lid to help the cheese melt easily. Let it cook for about 3 to 5 minutes until the bottom slice of bread turns golden brown, then carefully turn the sandwich to the other side. Cover the pan and let the other side cook. Repeat the same method for the remaining sandwiches.
