Ingredients to make the best Big Mac Wraps:

For the wraps:
1 diced yellow onion
1 pound ground beef
4 taco size tortillas
Shredded lettuce
Sliced pickles
Shredded cheddar cheese
For the Big Mac Sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup finely diced pickles
1 tablespoon mustard
3 tablespoons ketchup

Instruction to Make a good Big Mac Wraps:

Make the Big Mac Sauce:
In a bowl whisk together all the Big Mac Sauce ingredients until smooth (1/2 cup mayonnaise, ¼ cup finely diced pickles, 1 tablespoon mustard, 3 tablespoons ketchup). Put the sauce in an airtight container and store it in the fridge until needed.

Cook the ground beef:
Cook the beef and the onion in a medium skillet over medium-high heat (1 pound ground beef and ½ diced yellow onion). Break the beef into small pieces and make sure to season with salt and pepper to your liking. – Drain the grease before putting the beef in a bowl.

Assemble:
For each tortilla add shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, pickles ans the diced onion.

Add as much sauce as you like then fold the tortillas as a wrap and serve.

What size tortillas work best for this recipe?

Best tortillas Size: I personally use taco size tortillas but if you want smaller ones you can use the street taco sized tortillas or you could even make them into larger burritos.

What ground beef should I use?

Ground beef: For less fat and less cholesterol, we prefer to use lean ground beef, so we generally go with at least 85/15.

Can we double this recipe?

Absolutely, if you have a family gathering, a party, or a friends’ get-together then you can definitely double this recipe.
How do I safely store leftovers?
You can wrap your leftovers in plastic wrap, they can be refrigerated in an airtight container up to 3-4 days.

How to choos the ingredients:

Ground beef: opt for lean ground beef for the best results, you can use minced turkey or chicken but you risk losing the Big Mac flavor.
Tortillas: go for a soft taco size flour tortilla for this; you could also use a low carb wrap if you want to make this a low carb meal.
Lettuce: Iceberg lettuce works best for this recipe, but you could also use spinach, romaine lettuce or red leaf lettuce- use whichever you prefer.
Cheese: I go with cheddar cheese for these wraps but you could use whatever cheese you prefer
Onion: you can use yellow onions, white or red- if onions aren’t your thing, you can definitely leave them out.
Mayonnaise: You can choose your favorite go-to mayo sauce, I personally use either Hellman’s or Duke’s mayonnaise.
Mustard and ketchup: These two popular condiments are extremely necessary for a traditional Big Mac sauce flavor.
