Easy Avocado Bomb Sauce Recipe – This Avocado Sauce is Smooth, Creamy, Bright and SO Versatile!

This avocado sauce is light, creamy with a nice velvety texture; it tastes as great as it looks, it tastes truly amazing on everything. You can use it as a dipping sauce for chips, crackers, raw or cooked veggie sticks. You could also use it as a rich and tangy dressing for salads as it has a ketchup like consistency, which makes it a nice healthier substitute for ketchup or mayo.
I like to prep it a day ahead for an aperitif gathering, or as a starter with different kind of chips and crackers for a nice dinner among friends and family. I never worry about having leftovers, this sauce is a real crowd pleaser and tends to disappear moments after being served.
Your guests will love this fancy looking and extremely tasty avocado crema! It’s a must try!

Helpful Tips and Variations:

Which Avocado should I use? I prefer to use Hass avocado; they have a nice buttery creamy texture. You should choose your avocado carefully as it’s the star ingredient and it would greatly affect the recipe. (unripe avocados tend to be bitter or have no flavor at all)
Is it important to use fresh cilantro? I highly recommend using fresh cilantro for this Avocado sauce as it contains more flavor, it adds freshness, and tends to cool hot and spicy recipes.
What can I do to make the sauce thinner? As mentioned before, we’re looking for a ketchup like consistency. The sauce isn’t supposed to look like a chunky guacamole so add a splash of water and blend again.
Can I use a blender instead? Of course, a blender would also achieve a good consistency, but it should be a good quality blender.
Can I add a little sour cream? Sure! You can add a little sour cream or you can use Greek yogurt instead, but it should be plain and unsweetened.
How can I bring down the heat? If you don’t want your sauce to be too hot or spicy, remove the jalapeno seeds or replace with serrano peppers, Anaheim peppers, or Poblano peppers.
How can I store leftovers? Transfer your avocado sauce leftovers into a tightly sealed container and place it in the fridge. It will last for up to 5 days. Remove the top layer of the sauce if it browns a little (which is normal with avocadoes). You don’t have to worry about the rest of the sauce, the lime and olive oil help preserve the color and taste of the sauce for days.

How can I serve this Creamy Avocado Sauce?

Serve this tasty Avocado Bomb Sauce as a creamy dip with tortilla chips, grilled chicken strips, crispy baked potatoes, roasted veggies, celery sticks, parmesan crackers, or egg rolls. You can drizzle it on top of steaks, omelets, grilled chicken, or salads. You can also use it as a spread for sandwiches, wraps, burritos and tacos. I personally love how it pairs well with shrimps, tacos and different kinds of Mexican and southern flavors.
You can have it for breakfast with toast, eggs, or breakfast taco.
