There is just something about steak that makes everybody love it. It’s tender, flavorful, juicy and full of nutrients. The sirloin steak bites along with the perfectly roasted potatoes take your taste buds on a journey filled with significant comforting flavors.

Helpful Tips and Variations:

Best meat for this recipe: I prefer to use sirloin steak because it provides wonderful flavors and it is absolutely affordable. However, you can always replace it with a filet mignon, a New York strip, a Ribeye or a T-bone.
For extra moisture and tenderness: you can marinate your sirloin meat ahead of time, but this is completely optional.
Use a cast iron: or a non-stick skillet for this recipe, it retains heat which is best for cooking steak and crispy potatoes.
Make sure your skillet is hot before cooking the steak to get a good sear.
Best potatoes to use for this recipe: For this recipe, I use Yukon gold potatoes, they are perfect for roasting. They remain crispy brown on the outside, yet tender on the inside. Cut your potatoes into small equal size to help cook evenly. You can swap the Yukon potatoes for baby potatoes or red potatoes.
Storage: To store your leftovers, place them gently in an airtight container. It remains good for 3-4 days in the fridge. These butter steak bites and potatoes make delicious leftovers. Rewarm over low heat when needed.
For extra flavor: add a little parmesan to your garlic and herb butter sauce. You can also add some chili and lime for an added kick.
