Ingredients

  • 2 pounds large shrimp remove the shells and clean
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper add more if desired
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chopped parsley for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Tin foil

Instructions

  • Set your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit to preheat. Combine Cajun seasoning, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes. Mix all spices and herbs and add in the shrimp to coat with the mix.
  • Cut off a large piece of thin foil and gently place your seasoned shrimp in the center. Pour the lemon juice on top, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Fold the edges of the foil forming a sealed packet to keep all the juices inside. Carefully place the foil packet on a baking tray and place it in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. (until the shrimp turns pink and signals that it’s ready to be savored)
  • Take the baking pan from the oven and let it rest before touching the foil. Once you open the packet; you’ll be met with the most fragrant, steamy delight.
  • Keep it in the foil packet or transfer to a plate. Top with chopped parsley and lemon segments. Enjoy!
