2or 4 slices of breadcut off the edges if your kids don’t like them
1 to 2tablespoonsunsalted buttermelted
4tablespoonsmilk1/4 cup
1tablespooncondensed milkoptional garnish
Blueberriesoptional garnish
Instructions
Place 1 or 2 slices of cheese between two slices of bread.
Place the bread in a heated skillet over medium heat. Pour 1 tablespoon of milk on the bread and another tablespoon on the pan (this step will create steam to keep the toast from browning too fast). It’s best not to pour all the milk at once as it can affect the bread texture, we want to add the milk gradually to allow the bread to absorb the milk. After a few minutes, turn the bread to the other side. Expect to see a nice golden brown on your bread, assuming you didn’t set the heat on high. Pour the remaining tablespoons of the milk, drizzling some on the sides of the pan as well. Pour in the melted butter, drizzle some of it on the bread and the rest on the pan.
Keep the bread browning, pressing down and flipping it every few seconds to brown on both sides.
Once your milk bread turns crispy brown, transfer to your serving place. Drizzle a little condensed milk, garnish with a few blueberries and enjoy!
