Helpful Tips and Variations:

Which chocolate can I use? You can use your favorite chocolate brand as long as it tastes great and melts well. I prefer to use dark chocolate, but you can also replace with milk chocolate or any other flavored chocolate chips (peanut butter, fruit..)
Is it necessary to use chocolate chips? Not really! Sometimes, I like to use good quality chocolate bars like Lyndt or Hershey’s. Line the chocolate bars at the bottom of the skillet or break them into pieces).
How can I replace the graham crackers? You can replace with wafers, shortbread, biscuits, or cookies. Choose any crispy biscuits that work well for dipping (either plain or fruit based biscuits for added flavor).
Can I add some peanut butter? Definitely! If you’re looking for a nutty taste, you can drizzle some peanut butter or add crushed cashews or peanuts. If you like hazelnuts, then couple swirls of Nutella would also work for this recipe.
What else can I add to this S’mores Skillet Dip? You can drizzle some caramel sauce, shredded coconut or cinnamon. To add more texture to your recipe, add some crushed Oreos or cookies. You can also add some sliced bananas or strawberries for a fresh and fruity flavor.
Can I use a microwave? Definitely! Just melt the chocolate first, then cover with marshmallows.
How can I store any leftovers? I simply wrap the skillet with enough plastic wrap or foil to keep air from getting in, then I place it in the fridge (up to 4 days). Rewarm in the microwave.

How can I serve this S’mores Skillet Dip?

You can serve this delicious S’mores Skillet Dip for different cozy gatherings; typically during colder months. It’s serves as a comforting treat for movie nights, pajama parties, Holiday party, or game nights. You can even serve them for a brunch or a picnic.
If you don’t want to prepare this recipe in a cast iron or large baking dish, you can make it in small cast irons or small glass baking dishes. It all depends on the number of people you’re having over. Preparing in a large dish seems more practical, but I tend to prep it in two small baking dishes when making for a date night.
